I know, I know....it's been awhile

WOW has the last 4 months flown by or what, seems like it was just yesterday I was sending Juliet off to her 1st day of preschool!  This will be a catch up post and maybe I will keep up on it a bit better for the new year!

September flew by without much going on.  Sam continued to do the RC car thing, he loves it!  We got into a routine with Juliet going to preschool, Sophia and I like our time we get together when Juliet is gone to school.  It will be weird next year when she has 2 full days and a half day gone.  Sophia continued to grow her vocabulary and I tried to keep my mind off of the loss we had in August, I kept busy enough.

We had a nice and beautiful October, the leaves were stunning in our neck of the woods!  I started off the month making a fun hat, bootie and diaper cover set for a good friend of mine, whose sister was having a baby.  Yes those are Coug colors!

We took a fun trip down to Eugene for the pumpkin patch, Juliet has a fun surprise when we got there.  I had arranged for her friend Brynn and Brynn's mom Chelsea (my friend)  to meet up with us down there!  Juliet was so surprised and excited to see Brynn they had fun playing in the pumpkin patch, getting just the right pumpkin and hanging out!  It was so nice to see them and hang out!

After a fun day picking out the perfect pumpkins it was time to carve those bad boys!~  Sam helped the girls carve their pumpkins!  They had fun but Juliet didn't like the ooey gooey insides!

Halloween was a success with lots of candy for both of the girls!  This year we had a ladybug and Minnie Mouse

We had a pretty quiet November, I did have a few crafts started for Christmas and birthday's.  I have recently started making jewelry which is SO fun!

For the last few years on Thanksgiving night, we get together with my mom to kick of the Christmas season with goodies and watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas!  It is always fun, this year I made Grinch rice crispy treats!

I am going to end this post and make one for the Holiday season and our Elf on the Shelf, Jack!  Here are a couple of cute pictures of the girls from November!

The start of fall

Hello all!

Miss Juliet, my big big girl (I can't believe it, where did the last 4 years go?) started school, yes preschool!  She had a wonderful first day and was soooooo excited!  She picked out her dress, and shoes and got to choose what we did with her hair.  I made yummy chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast and finally it was time to set off the school!  She had her backpack and looked so old!  When we arrived she walked right into class and found a group of kids to play with.  I waited just a minute or so so make sure she was doing ok and when I said good-bye she hugged me, kissed me and said "see you later Mom"!  Really looking at her, I wonder when she got to be such a big girl, the time has flown so fast!
Juliet in her classroom!
Getting ready go, Sophia had to get in on the picture action too!

After we dropped Juliet off, Sophia sat in the backseat and said "where Juju?" and then proceeded to call for her, "juju, juju, juju".  Sophia was very excited to see her sister when we went to pick her up from school!

Sophia and I enjoying some Mama, daughter time!

Hope everyone is enjoying the end of summer and the beginning of fall!

WOW time to start updating

Well life has been passing as quickly as ever and I have not updated my blog for, like forever!  So I will do an update and hopefully keep up on our blog more often!

Juliet just celebrated her 4th birthday, can you believe it?  I can't, it seems impossible that it has been 4 years since our sweet little lady graced us with her presence.  The last 4 years have been filled with joy, laughter, happiness, some tears and frustration but we wouldn't have it any other way!

Juliet also just recently decided that she wanted to cut her hair so she had her first hair cut!  She looks so grown up and adorable with her new "doo" :)

Sophia is now 20 months old and is AMAZING, what a smart, sweet, helpful happy girl.  Don't get me wrong she is full of spice too.  She has a temper like no other and is VERY independent, even more so then her big sister!  I never thought I would be blessed with two strong and very independent children but God knew we would be strong enough to handle them.  Sophia is learning her letters and can identify properly about 10 letters, she can count to 3 in Spanish (thank you Dora) she says about 100 words and can say 2 to 3 words sentences.  She loves to run and has learned to jump.  She loves to play independently but also loves to play with her sissy!

We found out on July 21 (Juliet's birthday) that we were going to be blessed with our 3rd baby.  We were so excited and told all of our friends and family the big news, the girls were so excited!  We unfortunately lost our baby, it stopped growing at 7 and a half weeks and I had a miscarriage at 9 weeks.  We were able to bury our little peanut and made a nice memorial in our flower bed right underneath our bedroom window so our baby will be close to us.  It has been a devastating loss and our hearts are broken.  We have had the most amazing support though from our friends and family, it has been helpful in our healing and grief.

We are excited for Juliet to start preschool, again I can't believe that she is old enough and that she will be going to kindergarten next year!

Sam has been very involved in RC cars, he has built a number of them and has been competing them.  He is back to working in Hillsboro which has been nice, considering he has been out of town for the last 2 years first in Corvallis and then in Eugene.

I continue to stay home with the girls, and have been busy sewing, crafting and crocheting!  I have been working out at the gym 3-5 days a week for the last month and started a new way of eating today.  I will keep you posted on my progress!  I am ready to loose some weight and get a bit healthier before Sam and I start trying to get pregnant again in a few months.

Thanks for checking out our blog!  XOXO  The Collins'

Winchester Bay OR

We had a mini vacation in early June. Our wheeling friends set up a weekend to ride but when they first made the plans we thought my Grandma's memorial service was going to be that weekend so we didn't make plans to go, but the service was changed so we were able to go. We ended up driving down on Saturday and stayed in a hotel and left Sunday. Sam just took his quad. We had fun taking Juliet down to the ocean. She had not been down to the ocean since she was like 6 months old so this was a new experience for her and she LOVED it! She had fun getting her feet wet, and running down the beach! Daddy had fun chasing after her :) It was a beautiful weekend with great friends!

Happy 2nd Birthday to my little Bee!

Things had be pretty uneventful from Easter to Juliet's birthday, I battled a little bit of morning sickness in my first trimester, but was over it around week 13 or so. We had Juliet's birthday party on July 18th. I decided to do a ladybug theme and if I do say so myself it turned out really cute! My good and long time friend Jen Caine made the adorable cake! We had a nice turn out of family and friends to celebrate our little Little Juliet's 2nd birthday :) Juliet loved having all of her friends over to play with and yummy cake and ice cream to eat! HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY JUJU!! WE LOVE YOU!
